Tucked Among the Trees 16”x16” oil painting, was created using my reference photo of a barn a friend and I stumbled upon while out taking photos for inspiration. A dirt road led up to an old farmstead. Only the barn still stood, although visibly leaning, and the roof was getting thin. Peeking in the clearing she stood tucked away among the trees enjoying the quiet solitude and the warmth of one of hundreds of sunny days she's basked in over the years.
You can feel the warmth of this piece from the sky, to the warm wood of the leaning barn and sunlit grass to the bright whisps of wheat blowing in the gentle breeze.
